protection

Finding vulnerable children using geospatial data and machine learning.
Our current project on children welfare applies data collection and analysis techniques to enhance child protection and welfare.

Detecting Structures in Images During Humanitarian Emergency

This project develops AI solutions to analyze satellite images and provide accurate data to support humanitarian emergency effort.

Management of Disease Outbreak

The project uses AI technologies to help predict and track disease outbreak.

Promoting a Sustainable Agriculture

Developing AI solutions to help increase crops production in rural areas by diagnosing crop disease and managing pests.

The program is offered to computer science students with a bachelor’s degree who are interested in AI research and applications.

 

Young Scholar Program

The program is offered to computer science students at the master’s degree or doctorate level and who are interested in various aspects of computing including machine language, semantics, natural language processing, computer vision, speech processing, knowledge representation among others.

 

Post Doctoral Scholar Program

This program is offered to candidates who have completed their Ph.D. programs in computer science. In this program the post doctoral scholar can continue independent research while working on the institute collaborative research projects.
